This weeks comment: This story came from a man named Robert Matthews. "A few weeks before September 11th 2001, my wife who was expecting our first child, planned a trip to California. Driving to the airport, we prayed for a safe trip. Then we heard a loud pop. A tyre had blown and so we missed her flight. Very upset, we drove home. My father a retired NYFD, called, asking for my wife's flight number. Her flight was the one that had crashed into the World Trade Center. My father was going to help. I was concerned for his safety, of course, but more because he had never given his life to Christ. As he got off of the phone, he said, ‘Take good care of my Grandchild’. Those were the last words I heard my father say; he died helping in the rescue effort. My joy that my wife had been kept safe quickly became anger. I was angry at God, at my father, and at myself. I was blaming God for taking my father away. My son would never know his grandfather, my father had never accepted Christ, and I never got to say goodbye. Then several years later, something happened. I was at home with my wife and my son, when a couple with a small child knocked on the door. The man asked if my father's name was Jake Matthews. He grabbed my hand and said, 'I never got to meet your father, but it is an honour to meet his son.' He explained that his wife who was pregnant had been caught under debris inside the World Trade Center following the attack. My father had found his wife and freed her.
If you have to back-burner something, make it your career, not your kids. - God
