Craft House Get your raffle tickets at the Craft House for the drawing that will be at the T-top after the Poker Run at 4:30pm. You don’t have to be here to claim your prize if your name is drawn. Consignees can pick up their money on Tuesday’s Sept 2nd, last time this year. Don’t forget to make your plans for the bake sale Aug 30th at 12 – 4pm after the flea market. We are putting out a PLEA for baked goods, we never have enough to supply everyone that comes. Sept. 2nd consignees please stop by to pick-up your money. We are trying to make plans for the craft house to be open

Thursday, August 28th Friday, September 12th Stocking will begin @ 10:00am or as soon as the fish truck gets here. Contact Don Scola on W42 or Earl Rahlfs on H27 for starting places on the stream. Fishing begins on the day after stocking. A reminder to all members & guest; The ponds behind the Hill Country Stage Stop are stocked with fish. However, only children 12 years & under may fish there, NO ADULT fishing in these ponds.

Kids Fishing Tournament! Saturday, August 30th, 10:00am at the Ponds behind the Hill Country Stage Stop. Children 12years and under can participate. Hot dogs and soft drinks will be served. Fishing equipment will be furnished. Prizes for the largest fish, the most fish & smallest fish caught.

POOL REMINDERS 1. Pool will close during storms & will remain closed until threat is over. 2. No glass containers in pool area. 3. No pets in pool area. 4. Please pick up after yourselves. 5. Please shower before entering pool. 6. No cut-offs permitted in pool. 7. No spitting or blowing noses in pool. 8. No profanity. FAMILY POOL. 9. No rafts of any kind. 10. Do not hang on basketball hoop. 11. Persons with open cuts advised not to get in pool. 12. Persons having a communicable disease are prohibited from using the pool. 13. No non-swimmers in deep end of pool. Must be able to swim back & forth the width of the pool 14. No Jumping in the Shallow end 15. No Diving anywhere 16. No Running 17. Don’t hang on pool rope. 18. Baby’s must wear swim diapers under suits.

19. No lifeguard on duty. 20. Under 10 years of age must be with an adult. Not dropped OFF! Pool toys are donated for your fun. Please put them back when you are done with them. Thank You !!

Attention Members & Guests

Please help us recycle your aluminum cans by putting them in the designated wire containers that are sitting next to each trash dumpster!! Thanks!!

All Members & Guests: During severe storms, we have the Rangers announce what kind of warning is in progress. We have (2) storm shelters to go to; The basement under our chapel & for those who have pets, you can go to the Pre-teen center , under the Trading Post/Restaurant. Please make sure you find these (2) shelters so you know exactly where to go when a warning is issued.

Trail Rides; Reminder for all members & guests: Please be careful when out riding your ATV’s, when you come upon a horse ride you need to stop for them to pass by before you continue on your way. Please be aware of this & stop for the rides.

PLEASE WATCH YOUR SPEED!! Speed limits for the paved roads are 25 mph. Speed limits for the gravel roads are 15mph. Speed limits for the campgrounds are 10mph. Lift a thumb, a foot & save gas, a ticket, or injury.

Ranch Riders Club News The Ranch Riders Club is taking donations for the landing pad in Fogey. They are also raffling a gift card package that has a $100 Bass Pro and a $25 Applebee’s gift card in it. There is a 50/50 drawing underway that will pay out $599 to the winner. As always donations toward trail maintenance are always welcome. We are still taking donations to name trails, check out the map at our tent or in the bingo room. Please visit our tent over Labor Day weekend to help our causes. We have many different shirts & hats available for purchase. Please contact Chuck Ruckdeschell or Kevin Willis at the Ranch over Labor Day to donate.

RUBBER DUCK RAFFLE!! Don’t miss seeing 500 yellow rubber ducks in the Big Top pool. Children prize numbers will 1 – 175 Adult prize numbers are 176 – 500 Tickets will be sold at the Trading Post. Separate prizes for kids & adults. Prizes will be on display in the Trading Post. $2 per number & the drawing will be held Sunday, Aug. 31st @ 7:00pm at the Big Top pool.

Anyone & everyone invited to attend – come & sit by the fire, tell stories & hear the good things the form members are doing on the Ranch. Come hungry, sit a spell, & leave happy we’ll keep the campfire burning.
