Class Placement Input Form 2008-2009 Dear Parents, As you can see by the vast amount of information included in this Fall Planning Packet, our director, teachers and staff have put a great amount of time and care into the class placement recommendations for the upcoming fall dance season! Many years of dance training and teaching experience have been utilized to formulate these decisions. If you would like to give input regarding your child’s placement for next year, we ask that you please voice your concerns in writing via this form and return it to the Bluegrass Dance Center office by July 15, 2008. We will be unable to grant any requests to discuss the placement of your student until after we have received your written comments. We will uphold this policy to ensure that our director is given ample time to look over your child’s files and information before speaking directly with the parent. Things to consider: • • •

This form is not for requesting specific teachers or for students to be placed with friends who are not in the same grade or dance level. This form should not be used to compare your dancer with other dancers. Requests to attend an older age level class, or a higher-level class because of a scheduling conflict will not be honored.

We do not utilize these types of variables when placing a child. We generate class placements based on a methodical progression of dance learning. Children may always attend a lower level class, or younger age class to accommodate life’s busy schedules. Bluegrass Dance Center is a recreational dance facility. We enjoy teaching beginning dancers as well as those students with some additional dance background. Our teachers are able to motivate and inspire your children, in any class they attend.
