CLASH OF THE TITANS Lightening struck the trees of the valley The black cloud descended slowly Thunder burst the eardrums of the village people The heavy wind tore away the church steeple Suddenly a voice was heard above the din It filled the people with adrenalin The voice was louder than the raging thunder It made the high priests and holy profits wonder God was calling from heaven Calling the ones who sin The devil shook the earth from below While the cloud came down like a giant pillow The devil was mad with God above Hating Him for all His love But God looked down with all His charm And all at once there was a sudden calm Gradually a light took shape All the people could do was stand and gape A gigantic cross spanned the sky The crowd knelt down and began to cry The thunderous voice was heard again Telling the people to remain Within the shadow of the cross Then God sent a lightening bolt That sped like a bullet from a Colt It sunk into the Stygian cloud As thunder rent the air so loud The cloud fell heavily on the earth The crowd was swept away like dirt The trees were lit with a raging fire The wind smashed the church spire The earth broke open into half The devil looked on with a laugh Oceans fell out against laws of gravity The people fell into the gaping cavity
