Christs School Sports Day

Dear Parent / Carer Christ’s Sports day This year, Christ’s Sports day will be run at St Mary’s College, Twickenham, on their athletic track. St Mary’s College has extremely good athletic facilities and we have the opportunity to use their specialist facilities. The event is on Thursday 4th June 2009. Address: - St Mary’s College, Strawberry Hill, TW1 4SX Times: -

Registration at St Mary’s College at 9.15am (Do not come toschool) Finish approximately 2.00pm

Travel arrangements:

Students are asked to make their own way to and from the venue. The 33 bus to Fulwell stops outside the college, and Strawberry Hill British Rail station is a 5 minute walk from the College. Parents are also welcome to drop off and pick up if possible. Parents are also very welcome to stay to watch the event, but please note there is no parking at St Mary’s College, and free street parking is a short walk away (Shacklegate Lane)

Practical arrangements:

Students will need to have full PE kit and bring a packed lunch and drinks. Those not participating in the sports day are expected to attend in full school uniform. Students will need to bring sun cream and a hat if the weather is hot and a waterproof coat if rain looks likely.
