Training delivery The training programmes that our volunteers deliver directly to you are made up of 2 components: Volunteer Prepared training: Tailor Made to your needs. 60% of the training is designed in collaboration with yourselves and our volunteers. It is based upon our Training Needs Analysis and your organizational requirements. Together with our Network Managers you’ll make the decisions on what your needs are and we will find a volunteer to match.

Business Essentials: Predesigned for organizational growth. The other 40% of the training is still delivered by the volunteer, but through prepared training modules that will help bring your office up to speed on a number of essential business functions, including team building, communications skills and Microsoft Office. You’ll be able to choose which modules you want the volunteer to deliver.

Tailored training

Training delivery The training programmes are competed at your office over a number of days and have 3 components. 1: Part One Training: This is the main part of the training programme and will take between 3 to 5 days. Training will run from 10am to 4pm most days. You’ll work out the schedule together with the volunteer prior to their arrival.

2: Site Visit – during Part One It is essential that the volunteer understands the impact of the work that you are undertaking, so 1 day of the training will be dedicated to an informal site visit to a community that your organization works with.

3: Part Two Training This will comprise of 1 or 2 days approximately 7 – 15 days after the initial part 1 training. This enables the phase 1 training to be solidified and further embedded into your organization. It’s also a chance to grow your relationship with the volunteer further.
