Step 1: Create a Kinematic Product.

Step 2: Create a Law Sketch.
The Law curve represents angular or distance moved over a time period.
Make the base line a Construction element. Output the base line.
The base line represents time.

Step 3: Attach the Law to the Driving Command.
c) Select the Law Sketch
a) Double pick the Driving Command.

Step 4: Run a Simulation with Laws. Select the Simulation with Laws icon.

Step 5: Create a Simulation using Laws.
a) Select the Simulation icon. c) Pick Automatic insert. b) Pick Use Laws
e) Pick OK to save.
d) Run the Simulation

Step 6: Create Trace elements.
a) Select the Trace icon. b) Select the element(s) to be Traced c) If you have created a part to store the Trace elements, select it as Reference product. Else CATIA will create a new Part for you.
d) Pick OK to save.
