James Yates Mary Esther Reed Paul Johns Tim Morrell Hello, The website “This is Smyrna, TN.” has decided not to take a stand on individual candidates running for the three seats on the council for Smyrna Tennessee. We feel an impartial stance is currently the best position to take. Even with that understood we still would like to take an active part in helping people in Smyrna lead themselves to making an informed choice when Election Day occurs. With that in mind we at the website “This is Smyrna, TN.” are extending to you, as candidates for town council, an invitation to do a guest column for our website. We will leave the final decision on subject and length of column up to each of you. This is a chance to directly address a growing segment of our town’s population that regularly seeks out information on events and happenings by coming to our website. There is no deadline for your column. When received they will be “tacked” to the top of our website for several days to allow more people to read them.
