The conference begins Sunday night, October 4. 2. Dress for entire conference is Sunday AM dress (Handbook, pp. 28-29). 3. Classes and seminars that begin after 2:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday will meet. 4. Bring IDs to be scanned for services in Auditorium. Sign attendance sheet in each seminar. 5. Conference attendance required. Services and seminars are taking the place of class and chapel. 6. There is NO babysitting.

Bed for Sale Coach Gary Turner has a full-sized (double) bed for sale. The box springs are almost new and the mattress is in good condition. Bed frame included. All three pieces for just $80. NC Barbecue Cancelled The annual North Carolina Barbeque has been cancelled, according to David Williford, vice president for institutional advancement. Gerald Carraway’s health will not permit him to continue the long tradition. He has cancer. Cards of gratitude and support for his years of service to the college would be appreciated. Book Sales End Soon Common Grounds will stop selling textbooks October 9, except for the book needed for First Corinthians, taught by Dr. Robert Woodard. Purchase books and pick up all back orders by October 9.

SWEAT Program Students, faculty, and staff are invited to meet in front of Polston Hall Monday nights at 6:30 p.m. and walk up to two miles. Wednesday mornings at 6:30 a.m. meet in front of Polston Hall and run up to five miles.
