Preface

Welcome to BizCom, a World's first Distributed Web-based P2P Enterprise call center software which increases the power utilization of Agent grid with high stability, scalability at lowest cost.

BizCom Client Installation Guide

This guide provides detail description with images of BizCom Client installation process. It includes each and every steps of BizCom Client installation process. So if a user has some prerequisites installed already, skip steps for those and look for required prerequisites and BizCom Client installation steps. BizCom Client installation has the following prerequisites  System Requirements  Microsoft .net framework 3.5 SP1  Oreka 0.5.313 If the above prerequisites are not present on your system, BizCom Client installation would ask you to install the prerequisite during its installation. You don’t have to worry about locating the prerequisites, BizCom Client installer automatically redirect to resource locations of prerequisites or guides for finding/installing prerequisites during the installation. If your system has some prerequisite installed already then the installer skips it automatically and proceeds further.

Client Hardware Minimum: 400 MHz CPU, 96 MB RAM, 800x600 256-color display Recommended: 1.0 GHz or higher CPU, 256 MB or more RAM, 1024x768 highcolor 32-bit displays Up to 500 MB of hard disk space may be required 1.5. Server Hardware Server: 2.8 GHz, 1GB RAM 1.6. Network Requirements Server: Live IP – No Firewall (specified ports required to be open), 1mbps + b/w Client: 56kbps – 256kbps bandwidth 1.7. Other Software Requirement 1.7.1. Client: 1.7.1.1. .NET 3.5 SP1 1.7.1.2. Oreka 0.5.313 The following steps are given to install BizCom Client STEP 1 Download BizCom client setup from one of the following link: https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=162339&package_id=261 646&release_id=606849

STEP 2 Extract the downloaded zip file, run client Setup.exe.

STEP 3 This

installation would ask you to install.net framework 3.5 SP1, if your system does not have .Net framework installed.

STEP 4 Now

install the downloaded .net framework 3.5 SP1 setup by double clicking on dotNetFx35setup.exe

STEP 8 Accept terms and conditions

Accept the license Agreement & click on Install. STEP 9 Click “Exit” to finish the .Net Framework installation

STEP 11 After finishing the .Net Framework installation, double click again on BizCom Client setup.exe & click “Next” to precede installation.

STEP 12 BizCom client installation progress screen:

STEP 13 BizCom Client installation completed. Click “Close” to finish the BizCom Client installation.

STEP 14 Install Oreka from http://oreka.sourceforge.net/download/windows & extract the zip. STEP 15 Run the orkaudio-0.5-313-win32-installer.exe & click on Next.

STEP 16 Click on Install & than Click on next to install.

STEP 17 Click on next & install WinPcap.

STEP 18 Accept the license & after the installation click on finish.

STEP 19 Enter the BizCom Server URL in the Web browser’s address bar. The Welcome page appears. Register on the page. Register/Login:

 For first time user, enter user-id and password in the specified fields then click on the Register Button.  If you are a registered user enter your user-id and password and press login.

STEP 20 First time user enter username, password and valid email Id and press OK to Register.

STEP 21 The next page shows startup progress of BizCom engine

STEP 22 The following page appears after finishing the download. User can login with registered user-id and password.
