2.1 Main Function Key K_MenuLeft – Move cursor left in menu or list; Hot key of Inbox. K_MenuRight – Move cursor right in menu or list; Hot key of Tone Setup. K_MenuUp – Move cursor up in menu or list; Hot key of Audio Player. K_MenuDown – Move cursor down in menu or list; Hot key of Write Message. K_Left – Select the option displayed in the lower left part of the screen. K_Right – Select the option displayed in the lower right part of the screen. K_Call – Press this key to make a call, or answer incoming call. Press this key once to retrieve the list of All Calls (recently dialed, received, and missed call numbers). K_Hup – Press this key to end a call or return to standby state (Cancel, Exit). It will be disabled when the SIM Card is not support the function. 4. Getting Start To install SIM card and battery a) If necessary, switch off the phone by holding down K_Hup until the powering

down message is displayed. Remove the battery cover. Clear the SIM Slot, and slide the SIM card into its holder. Insert the battery with the label side up and the connectors facing each other. Slide the battery cover into place. Note : The phone support Dual SIM Cards feature. You can install two SIM cards into the phone and use them on the same time.

To charge the battery a) Plug charging connector into the slot at the right side of the phone. b) The Phone can be used while the battery is charging. c) When charging is finished, disconnect the adapter by pressing the tabs at the side of the connector. d) Note : Please charge the battery for 12 hours if it is first time used. This will ensure the battery is fully charged and operated in good condition afterworlds. To Install the Memory Card a) Remove the cover of the card slot and then pull the card into the slot. b) To remove the card, please use sharp tool (e.g. ruler) to push the card in until repels out from the memory card slot. c) Note : User may require a sharp tool to take out the card. To turn on / off the phone a) Press and hold K_Hup for 3 seconds to turn on / off the power. b) Enter your 4-digit SIM card PIN, if requested. c) Default password is either “1122” or “1234” or “0000”. 5. Calling Before you can make or receive any calls, you must turn on the phone and be within range of network. Your phone supports Dual SIM Cards feature that you can install and use two SIM cards on the same time. When you want to make a call, you can choose any one of the SIM for making a call. To make a call a) Enter the phone number (with international country/region codes and area code if applicable). b) Press K_Call_A to make the call as default SIM A c) OR Press K_Call_B to make the call using SIM Card B

d) Press K_Hup to end the call. To answer a call a) Press K_Call to answer a call; Press K_Hup to reject a call. b) With the Any Key option, you could answer a call by passing any key except passing K_Call. To set Any Key option a) From standby press Menu (K_Left) User Porfile. b) Press OK (K_Left) to Open and Customize a Profile c) In a list of options, select the Answer Mode and choose Any Key to set On. To check your missed calls a) From standby press K_Call to retrieve the list of All Call (recently dialed, received, and missed call numbers). b) Use K_MenuUp / K_MenuDown to scroll to a number and press K_Call to call a number. 6. Dual SIM Cards Setup You phone support Dual SIM Cards feature. With this feature, you can install and used two SIM cards on the same time. To enable Dual SIM Cards feature a) Press Menu (K_Left) Settings Phone Setup SIM B Setting. b) In a list of options, choose Open / Close SIM B to open the SIM B feature. c) Choose SIM B Auto to set On for detecting network automatically To switch SIM cards as default SIM a) Press Menu (K_Left) Settings Phone Setup SIM B Setting. b) In a list of options, choose Switch and set On for switching SIM cards as a default in no position change. 7. Phone Setup To restore to English Menu a) From standby press Menu (K_Left) b) Choose Settings (the 4th option) c) Choose Phone Setup (the 2nd option) d) Choose Language (the 3rd option)

8. Picture Messages (MMS) Your phone supports various messaging services. Please contact your service provider about you can use and any configuration of the messaging services. Pictures messages can contain text, pictures, video clips, photos and sound recordings. You can send picture messages to a mobile phone or an email address. Before you start, you must have a subscription that supports picture messaging, and receiver of the picture message must also have support for picture messaging. To create and send a picture message a) From standby press Menu Messages MMS Write Message b) When you have finished composing your message, you can click Option to view more options : Send – to send the picture message by entering the receiver address.

Add Image / Audio – to add image or audio into the message. Add Attachment – to add files into the message from File Manager To change the default Input Method a) From standby click Menu

Methods b) In a list of option, select one of the methods for the preferring input method. 9. Camera You can take pictures, record video clips, save and view them and send them in picture message via picture messaging (MMS). To take a picture a) From standby click Menu Multimedia Camera b) Or press and hold a Hot key K_Camera to directly open the Camera. From the viewfinder, press K_MenuUp /Down to zoom in or zoom out. Press K_MenuLeft / Right to adjust the brightness. Press K_SideUp /Down to add a frame to the picture. Press K_OK or K_Camera to take a picture. You will hear a “beep” sound for successful. Click Save to save picture in the Memory Card as default (in the Photo folder). Or click Clear to discard picture. To deactivate the camera, click Back. To record a video clip a) From standby click Menu Multimedia Video Recorder From the viewfinder, press K_OK to start the recording. You can view the counter above viewer. Press K_MenuUp /Down to zoom in or zoom out. Press K_MenuLeft / Right to adjust the brightness. To pause the recording, press Pause (K_Left). To resume the recording, press Resume (K_Left). To end the recording, press Stop (K_Right) and then press Save to save the video clip on the Memory Card as default (in the Video folder). To deactivate the recorder, press Back (K_Right) or press the K_Hup (Exit) 8.1 Camera Settings When you are in the viewfinder, click K_Left (Option) to view a number of

options to adjust and enhance your pictures and video clips before taking or recording them. To Image Player – switch to the image viewer for viewing pictures. To Video Player – switch to the video player for playing video clips. Camera / CamCoder Setting – choose different camera setting. Image Setting – choose resolution and quality for your picture or video. White Balance – Set the white balance level of the camera. Effect Setting – choose different effects for your picture or video. Add Frame – to add a frame to your picture Storage – select Memory Card or Mobile to save the picture or video. Restore Default – restore the setting to the phone from factory. 10. MP3 / MP4 Your phone supports playing MP3 music and MP4 video clip. MP3 music and MP4 movie are in mp3 and mp4 file format (e.g filename.mp3 and filename.mp4). They can be downloaded from the official music and movie website. The phone also supports other digital video at MPEG4 file format. Please refer to the Connectivity Section for the details of file transfer. To play MP3 a) From standby click Menu Multimedia Audio Player. b) Or press a shortcut key K_MenuDown to directly open the Audio Player. c) Select MP3 music from the List and press Option Play to play the music. When playing music, press K_MenuDown / Up to stop or play the music. Press K_MenuLeft / Right to play the previous or next music. Press K_SideUp / Down to adjust the phone speaker volume. To deactivate the player, stop the music and press Back (K_Right) Note : Audio Player support files format are *.mp3, *.wav and *.midi To play MP4 a) From standby click Menu Multimedia Video Player b) Select MPEG4 video from the List and click Play to play the movie. When playing a movie, you can press K_Camera to capture movie screen. To pause the playing, press Pause (K_Left) To resume the playing, press Resume (K_Left) To speed up / down the movie, press K_MenuUp / Dwon To deactivate the player, click Back Note : Video Player support files format are *.3gp and *.mpg4

11. Bluetooth You may use the built-in function of your phone to synchronize data between a PC and your phone, or to use the built-in modem of your phone to access the Internet from a PC, or to exchange data with other Bluetooth devices. You can also talk by the Bluetooth headset or Bluetooth loud speaker. To Turn on Bluetooth a) From standby press Menu Extra Bluetooth b) In a list of options, select Power and then On to enable the Bluetooth function. To use Bluetooth Headset a) From standby press Menu Extra Bluetooth b) In a list of options, select Power and then On to enable the Bluetooth device. c) Set the Bluetooth headset to the status that allows detection. d) Select Inquiry Audio Device from the Bluetooth list screen. If a Bluetooth headset has been found, you will see its profile on the device list. e) If a Bluetooth headset is found for the first time, it should be authenticated by PIN code. (Default PIN is either “1122” or “1234” or “0000”). i. Select the found Bluetooth headset from the device screen and press ii. iii.

K_Left(Option) Connect to enable the Bluetooth headset. Please get the Bluetooth PIN code of the headset from the user manual of the Bluetooth headset and enter it to the phone. If the connection is successful, a headset icon will be shown on the icon bar.

Notes: a) The Bluetooth function supported by the phone meets the requirements of the Bluetooth specification v1.1. However, it is workable between the phone and other Bluetooth devices also depend on the compatibility of both. For more information, please refer it the user manuals of related devices, or consult the manufacturer of the related devices. b) Only when authentication is needed, the Bluetooth headset needs to be set to the status that allows detection. If the authentication has been formed, you just need to turn on your Bluetooth headset. For more information, please refer to the user manual of your Bluetooth headset. 12. GPRS / WAP

The mobile phone supports GPRS access feature. To access GPRS, please go to the WAP mode of the phone. GPRS is the international standard of WAP. Before you start, you must have a subscription that supports GPRS / WAP. The configuration is supplied by your service provider and is usually saved on the SIM card. 13. USB Linkage Before using USB cable to connect your phone to a computer, you must enable the USB function of your phone. To enable USB a) Turn on you phone and connect the USB cable to a USB port on the computer and to the phone. b) The phone has three functions for the connection: 1) Mass Storage 2) Webcam 3) Com Port c) You must select the Mass Storage function. d) When the Mass Storage is selected, the phone will turn off automatically and act as a mass storage to the computer. 14. Connectivity When you connect your phone to a computer using the USB cable provided, the MMC card appears as a drive on the computer. You no need to install any USB driver, it is “plug and play” supported by Windows ME, 2000 or XP. To transfer files using the USB cable e) Turn on you phone and connect the USB cable to a USB port on the computer and to the phone. f) The “Found New Hardware Wizards” start on the computer and will find the USB software drivers automatically. g) After the wizard have successful to find the drivers, open Windows Explorer and select the Memory card drive. h) You can use the drag-and drop functionality in your computer to : Transfer files between your phone and the computer. Move, delete and organize files on the memory card. Note : 1. For Windows 98 or lower version, USB connection cable may not be able to use. Please use Card Reader for writing the files directly to memory card.
