The Allegheny Mennonite Historical Association invites you to attend a Hymn Sing in the 1855 Allegheny Mennonite Meetinghouse, 39 Horning Road, Alleghenyville, PA on Sunday afternoon, September 21, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Dwight Groff of Kinzers will lead hymns from the hymnbook, Life Song #2. Please bring this hymnal if you have a copy. The auxiliary at Landis Homes is in need of volunteers to bake cookies by for the Chicken Barbecue. They will be delivered September 12. See the sheet in the narthex for details or contact Mary Ellen Musser. September 13, 2008 is the date for the Landis Homes Fellowship Day and Chicken Barbecue. The Benefit Auction will begin at 9:00 A.M. Chicken Barbecue will be sold from 11:00 A.M. - 5:30 P.M. See the bulletin board for some of the items to be sold and a schedule of the events. Remember Esther Snader as she travels back to China tomorrow. Grandparents Day will be held Saturday, September 13th from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Woodcrest Retreat. This day is geared toward grandchildren ages 5-10 though older children are welcome. Please look on the bulletin board for details. Dear Folks, Once again we want to thank you for all the support in different ways, such as prayers and help toward expenses during Ike’s recent illness.
