1. Personal Equipment: Each person w ill demonstrate theu se of their own equipment. Each person will properly attach and remove their own equipment, including helmet, harness, snow shoe s, and crampons. In addition, each person will have a winter 24-Hour SAR Pack ready for travel. 7. Setup a Rappel: Each person shall setup a person load rappel using snow anchors.

8. Escape The Belay: Each person shall escape a belay on a weighted rope with one other person. (This will include transferring the loaded rope to an anchor and removing him/herself from the rope.)

8. Shelter: Each person w ill construct and spend the night in an em ergen cy snow shelter. (Snow caves and igloos are not allowed [ ] for test purposes.) 9. Prepare a hot evening meal.
