1. Personal Equipment: Each person w ill demonstrate theu se of their own equipment. Each person will properly attach and remove their own equipment, including helmet, harness, snow shoe s, and crampons. In addition, each person will have a winter 24-Hour SAR Pack ready for travel. (See personal and team equipment list for requirements.) 2. Ice Axe Employment: Each person should be able to demonstrate the proper use of an ice axe while moving over varied terrain.
