How to CONTROL your EMOTIONS in trading POSITION SIZING RISKING MAXIMUM OF X% OF TOTAL TRADING CAPITAL THE MAXIMUM RISK DEPENDS ON YOUR RISK APPETITE / PROFILE
EXAMPLE : (RISKING 2% of CAPITAL) TRADING CAPITAL (A) = $100,000 HOW MUCH CAN I BUY IF THE TRADING RISK (STOP LOSS) IS (B) 5% ?
MAXIMUM RISK (2% (C) OF $100,000) = $2,000
THEREFORE 5% RISK = $2,000 (2% from CAPITAL) POSITIONS SIZE THAT I CAN TAKE =$2,000 / 5 X 100 = $ 40,000
