TECHNIQUE: – STEP 1: Teacher commands and he himself performs – STEP 2: Teacher commands and both (teacher and students) perform – STEP 3: Teacher commands but only students perform – STEP 4: Teacher commands one student at time – STEP 5: Roles are reversed (one student commands and the teacher and classmates perform) – STEP 6: The command is expanded or a new one is produced

PROS: – Reduces the stress of learning a L2 – Oral proficiency is developed

CONS: – Is not useful by its own, need to use with other technics and methods – Language accuracy is not important
