MC TO MC COMMUNICATION USING SERIAL PERIPHERAL INTERFACE

ABSTRACT: Embedded system is the one of the firmware that is combination of software and hardware. Here the software is encapsulated in the hardware. In embedded system entire hardware is monitored and controlled by the software which is developed by the programmer/user. This technology reduces the cost and size of the devices. It also reduces the manual operation; finally it gives the automation products such as Home Appliances, Security systems, Satellite, Industries Automation and etc, Now a days to improve the efficiency of the process, people uses some new technologies, like RTOS (Real Time Operating System which gives deterministic and multitasking facilities), PROTOCOLs (such as I2C, SPI, CAN, LIN and TCP/IP which increase the speed of the process). Major part of this project is smart card sensor, microcontroller. And front end of this project is Visual basic [VB]. If the person entered into the prohibited places, in that place he entered and get the attendance because of smart card sensor & at the same time details will be displayed in the front end VB. Such us name, designation, ID number, contact number.

DESCRIPTION: In the popular prohibited places, person will not entered into the room without smart card. But the person entered into the room because of smart card. Smart card is any pocket-sized card with embedded integrated circuits which can process data. This implies that it can receive input which is processed by way of the ICC applications and delivered as an output. Morepersons having individual ID. Sensor is fixed in the door in the popular areas. If the person have smart card and show nearer to the sensor, door will be open otherwise door will not be open. Sensor sensed the ID and directly to the microcontroller. Microcontroller check all the details of the corresponding person, the details can be displayed in the PC.
