The Company wanted to implement SPIRIDON coupled with Country India version (CIN) with effect from 01.04.06.

SD module basically involved Contract Management and Project Management.

As a domain lead of Sales and Distribution team, responsibilities included:



Providing Support for various SAP related services offered by HP Asia Pacific for 14 countries in the APAC Region - Order Management System (OMS) and close to 2600 users in all these countries.



Regional Integration Testing of all the ABAP developments related to integration and updating the Knowledge base.



Post go-live support of current business processes involved resolution of problems within the Turn around Time (TAT) linked to the priority of the call. 90% issues resolved well before the TAT.



Handled SAP Workflow, which relates to the renewal of the contracts automatically and making the necessary changes to the contracts (which is done by the GBC team in Chennai) and then sent back to the contract administrator for further processing with the customer and there by ensure continuous revenue generation for HPSIT.



Resolution of problems in the Sales and Distribution area covered the following: Product related issues, Process related issues, Billing Plans, Billing and Billing aborts, Pricing issues (includes variant pricing), Analyzing the root cause of all issues, DOR Related problems, Configuration and Account Determination.



Maintaining Support and Sustenance of Add-on modules and their integration with SAP.

Most of the materials used in HPS IT are configurable materials. So, has a basic understanding of the variant configuration.

Services Upfront Enables the link with all the HP Order fulfillment Systems Contractual Obligation is created in Services SAP Structure Installed base – contains Equipment, functional locations, group contracts etc

The File Processing Service receives the Invoices/Shipments file from ordering systems. The files from the originating system, is processed through Sorter, Preprocessor subsystems and reformats files to load the Services to SAP as Upfront Contracts. The services upfront, enables Contract Administrators and the Sales team to provide continual support to customer and workout automated renewal procedures 
