Project Details : Intellect Lending is a complete lending management product catering to various functions of Loan management. The product caters to Retail and Corporate Loans. The product captures all the information through out a loan life cycle. It supports various business requirements of lending; generating proposals, sales, booking, foreclosure, maturity closure, rescheduling etc. It caters to various business processes like delinquency, post dated cheques, standing instructions, top up loans, rollover loans, component rollover, charges & waivers and excess refund & excess adjustment etc. Responsibilities: • •

Configured Standby Database in manually managed mode. Shell scripts and Cron jobs are written to transfer the logs to standby site (Disaster Recovery site) at frequent intervals and apply to the Standby Database as per Business requirements. Scripts are developed to monitor the growth of the Database and purging policy is implemented at frequent intervals by raising change controls to GE-Capital Bank.

By monitoring production Database through Instance Monitor, suggested some parameters for Database Tuning. • Performed Smoke testing during the installation of every full build for the Intellect Lending 9.5.0 application to validate the fitness of the application for testing. • Functionality testing has been performed against the identified modules. Project Details : Pan Credit – a Lending software package was obtained by GE-GCF, to cater their Lending and Leasing Business needs. Suitable software modifications are made to the product to meet the requirements of GE Capital Bank, Austria. Satyam is entrusted with the maintenance of this product by GE-GCF. The maintenance includes activities like bug fixing, support during online and batch processing in the live environment, performance enhancements, software releases and configuration management etc., Production servers are located at Copenhagen. Satyam access the servers through GTN Link and provides offshore operations and Database Administration. All the three servers (Pan Credit production, Data warehouse, Test/Standby) are configured in Sun Clustering to make sure high availability of the system. In case of production down (one-node fails) the other node automatically takes over without notice of users. Disk mirroring (striping across the disks) is implemented for optimum performance gain. Cron jobs take care of switching from one node to another node in case of any failure. Verities Volume manager is used to configure Disk groups and Verities Net Backup R3.2 is configured to automate the physical Backup of the Database. CSC (Computer Science Corporation) is responsible for high availability of System and takes care of Operating System and Satyam co-ordinates with CSC for smooth maintenance of operations.
