What We Learned We learned more about the different types of sports Australia includes in their Olympics. We also learned about Australia’s landmarks. Like the Sydney Opera House, Kangaroo Island, Bondi Beach, and Heart reef. We also learned that Australia's main religion is christianity with the major denominations being Anglican and Catholic. Lastly, we learned about the different types of fabrics that are used to make the outfits for the Olympic sports. Fabrics like heavy lycra for a netball uniform, linen for a beach handball uniform, and nylon for a track and field uniform were used for Halei’s sketches. Fabrics like polyester for a swimsuit (surfing), acrylic for a figure skating uniform, and spandex for a leotard (gymnastics) were used for Isabella's sketches.
