BMCG 2713 THERMODYNAMICS ASSIGNMENT (10%) SEMESTER 1 SESSION 2018/2019 Marks = 10% of total marks for BMCG 2713 (LO2, PO2) Criteria for assessment Introduction shows that student understand the case study Students are able to identify a system that involves the use of the selected device. A good case was presented and discussions about the case show that students understand the case. Good ability to present equations/correlations suitable for the analysis of the respective case. Good ability to solve related problems using P-v or Tv diagrams as well as Thermodynamics Property tables or gaseous equations (depending on the case) Students are able to do analysis in relation to the topics learned in class and then extend the topics to a broader perspectives (Good scientific recommendations/discussions) Ability to show good team work in the report Report was written following given instructions. Late submission – mark in first column is penalty for submission later than 5 pm on the due date of assignment - mark in second column is penalty for submission made before 5 pm on the next date after the due date. - mark in third column is penalty for submission made after 5 pm on the next date of the due date. Submission later than 5 pm on Friday of the week where the assignment is due will not be accepted.
