Synopsis: The scope of this product is to design development and pilot implementation at five district location. The application will cover mainly services provided by the gram panchayat such as various certificate handling like Birth/Death certificate, Property Tax certificate, Caste certificate, Income certificate, farmer ownership certificate etc. This project is under requirement elicitation and feasibility validation phase. Entire project will be deployed in data centric architecture. Central server will be configured at State level. IBM team will work together with C-DAC team during the product development and implementation phase.

This product is being accessed through wide area network of CWC. In this project I was involved from the beginning of project. Starting from reengineering of existing product, re-designing of existing tool, designing and development of new component, integration of components, configuration of product. I was also involved in the client interaction, team management and implementation of the product. Currently product is under implementation phase.

Synopsis: Municipal corporation of Delhi is one of the biggest corporation in India. Its functioning varied in 13 zones and a headquarter having overall staff strength of 1.5 lacs. I along with team was involved in the development of a tool which participate and manage the functioning of MCD’s Personnel and Account department’s activity. Product will be well efficient to manage the entire career event of employee from recruitment to retirement including payroll. System will be based on J2EE architecture and Struts will be used for framework design. Entire application will be loaded on central datacentric server and will be accessed at 20 geographically distributed locations via using Internet. JUnit will be used for J2EE architecture unit testing, JMeter for performance testing and Rational product will be used for other life cycle of development. Currently this system is under requirement elicitation phase.

Synopsis: This phase was an extension of first phase and it is an efficient tool for the management to control their organization’s working. this phase contains Staff Grievance, Hour of Employment Regulation, Policy, Letter and File Management, Industrial Relation modules based on IREM. Web services of J2EE technology is used to develop this phase. Rapid Application Development Environment (RADE) is developed to enhance the performance and speedup the overall development. RADE tool contains flexible report writing, application form design, menu design, performance monitoring etc.
E) PMIS – Phase-I–Jun’2002 to Oct’ 2003 Platform and tools used are same as above. Synopsis: The Personal Management Information System (PMIS) is an excellent HR management tool based on IREM and it provide services like recruitment process, monitoring training & man-power planning program, maintaining service records, roster, on-line transfer process, employee promotional activities and maintaining seniority of various categories of employees. This also helps user to search information from different Zones. This product has various MIS report which helps in monitoring dayto-day and work of staff. PMIS system streamlines various functions of the Personal Department of Indian Railways. The core areas covered are system security, data transfer, defect tracking, back-up, recovery and several management tools to helps management at the time of decision making. This application is implemented at Head Quarter and Division’s office and maintaing data strength of 50,000 and being implemented in DLW, Varanasi. This product is supposed to be implemented at 90 locations across entire railway and will manage 16.7 lacs serving employee 19 lacs retired employee data.

Synopsis: The Security Management Information system to be developed as application software is a product expected to be designed and developed for the Railway protection Force in particular and the Indian Railway in general. The SMIS consist of three major modules i.e. 1. Crime 2. Establishment 3. Stores. I was involved in designing and development of Establishment module of the package, which deals with maintenance of records of employees starting from their recruitment till retirement. It includes maintenance of service related records such as leave, loan, pass, medical and other entitlement related benefits etc. It also deals with the employees’ major career events like promotion, transfer, training, court case, suspension / penalty etc.

Synopsis: The system was developed as a product, keeping in view for complete accounting system of Indian Railways based on Railway Finance Code. It contains the processes from preparation of CO6 (a expenditure bill for passing) to different account books, account current, trial balance, schedules, suspense registers, saving/deposit registers up to balance sheet for Northern Railways with integration of PF module. Other features of system are multilevel security, system auditing, housekeeping routines (Backup-Restore), and integration/compilation of different account units with in single application system. System also has the procedures to transfer data from Northern Railways' VAX mainframe to Oracle database and vice versa. My work under this project is related to CO6 Book preparation for Stores Section and employees Provident Fund (PF) maintenance. After completion of this phase, we have to make the Accounts Department paperless.
H) Electronic Governance - Dec-2000 to Mar 01 Client : District Admin. Authority, Gautam Budh Nagar. Implemented by : ER&DCI, Noida. Team Size :6 Front End Tools : Visual Basic 6.0/5.0. Hardware Server (Database) : Windows NT for Oracle 8 Server on Compaq Machine. Synopsis: This was a pilot project for Govt. of U.P. for Management of District Development activities (Smart District Concept)- Electronic Governance. System includes keeping the revenue/land records, GIS information, and budgeting/monitoring different rural development schemes. The system is implemented on different remote sites of block offices on stand-alone machines on Personal Oracle8/ Developer2000 platform. The main feature of system is that the GUI front and reports of system are designed to cater the requirements of Hindi knowing users also, using Hindi Typefaces.
