What is @RTIMOS? When one first encounters the name

@RTIMOS the initial response of most is, “Huh? Ahh, what does that mean?” And you know what? I can’t say that I blame them. @RTIMOS, is really just an arbitrary name created by the founder, Art Saowichit. But guess what? Like most things in life, if we take a moment to pause--to look deeper, past the surface and first encounter, we find that @RTIMOS (and anything else in life) can take on a whole new meaning--a meaning that is very profound.  So dissection time!  If we take @RTIMOS and split it two : @rt-imos, an interesting evaluation can be made. To us, “@rt” can mean any kind of creative piece, whether it is song, dance, or multimedia and one of the official definitions of “art” found in the

Now, “imos.” In Spanish if you add “imos” to the end of a word--for example “mucho” (a lot) becomes “muchisimos” it changes the meaning of the word to mean A LOT, A LOT, on a grand scale. So, in other words, when these two parts are combined, one meaning of @RTIMOS can be a production of various forms of art on a grand scale and in our case, to use the beauty and emotional power of art to create a space where we can lay aside our differences, to come together and build a network of people who are striving for a common goal--a goal of making the world a better place one step at a time. We believe that peace is possible to the extent that we are willing to strive for it in our own lives and in our own relationships with others. The arts are just a power way to motivate and inspire ourselves to go and do--to serve our brothers and sister, wherever or whomever they may be.
