¿Are black cats a sign of bad luck? The origin of this supertision is in Europe, from the Middle Ages, that people began to associate cats with witches and witchcraft. It’s says that, one night a father with his son threw stones at a black cat, attacked him until he was helpless, and with wounds all over his body. The next day, they found their neighbor with blows and wounds as the cat had been the night before, and immediately assumed that the old woman was a witch and transformed into a cat at night. Personally I don’t believe in this superstition, I think it's a popular legend. This hasn’t been scientifically proven, many times I have seen cats crossing in front of me, However, nothing bad has happened to me at all. I believe a good or bad day, or a good or bad luck doesn’t depend on a cat, and less for being black.

In coming decades, women will probably continue to be slightly less tan half the labor force. By 2025, the women's workforce will have been get a peak at 47.7%, proyected The Bureau of Labor Statistics. In the European Union of the year 2015, women accounted for 46.8% of the U.S. labor forcé. Nevertheless, although women comprised a much larger share of the labor force in 2015 than in 1950 (29.6%), the Bureau of Labor Statistics projected the share of women in the workforce will peak at 47.1% in 2025 before tapering off. Therefore, it is said that it’s posible that women doesn’t reach the highest percentage of the labor force. For those women who do work, the gender pay gap has narrowed. Women earned $0.83 for every $1 a man earned in 2015, compared with $0.64 in 1980. The pay gap has narrowed even more among young adults ages 25 to 34: Working women in that age range made 90% of what their male counterparts made in 2015. Currently less and less women have high job positions, because these positions are occuped by men in majority. On the other hand, surveys reveal that these are some of the reasons. 1.- Some women don’t believe to be able to assume a charge that requires great responsibility. 2.- Many times for fear, women do not express their interest to standing out. 3.- Many women ignore the opportunities that are currently offered. Like alternative of solution, many high job positions of work for women will be offered by the CEOE (Spanish confederation of business organizations). Training courses and masters will be received by women capable of accepting new challenges without fear, said Ana Plaza, CEOE’s secretary. Many conferences are going to be promoted by universities like Stanford, Harvard and Oxford. In these conferences will be dictated by women who hold important positions in different companies as personal experience.

THE SITUATION OF SINGLE MOTHERS IN PERU

One and a half million women are single mothers in Peru, according to the results of the Demographic and Family Health Survey (ENDES). 69.4% of mothers have a partner. This figure was reduced to 8% in the last three years according to the data from the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI) of 2014. At the national level, 69.4% of mothers have a partner. 36.1% are married, 33.3% are cohabitants, 9.1 are widows, 4.3% are single and 0.8 are divorced. Peruvian mothers are in total 8 million 612 thousand, that is, 68.8% of women in our country. This year 577 thousand women aged 15 to 49 became mothers for the first time. For the specialist in social policies of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP), Carlos Eduardo Aramburú, indicates that the main cause of the increase in this figure is premature pregnancies. Teenagers get pregnant for a number of reasons. In most cases it is due to lack of information, advice, preventive measures or cultural traditions and practices. Early pregnancy is the second cause of school dropout because many of them drop out of school to take care of the newborn. The ministry of women, the ministry of health and education are committed to improve this situation.   

Preventive talks to prevent premature pregnancy will be dictated by the ministry of women. Study scholarships, hand workshops and the use of technological tools will be promoted by the ministry of education. teenagers must find productive activities in which they can work with enthusiasm. Although being a single mother is not a tragedy, it is worrisome if you are a girl of 16 who have to assume the responsibility of raising a child alone. This situation is going to be reversed too, while there is communication at home between parents and children. Also, the authorities have to continue with action plans to improve this social problem.
