Is Week # 6 at His Life Central and other Sites. This is the Closing of our Loving God and Loving People Series! Pastor Jonas preaches at Iloilo today. Pastor Glenn ministers the Word of God at YX — Cinema 5 this morning. Is the DAY in which we commission the YX Missions TEAM for CAGAYAN that will be leaving tomorrow for Cagayan de Oro City. The youngest delegate is Trina Ramos (5 years old). PRAY, GIVE and CONNECT with them. This Missions Trip will bring the Partnership Seminar, The Call Conference and the Encounter Weekend to the brethren there. Sulit na sulit!

April 5 — TODAY

The entire staff of HLLC is getting ready for their POWER Training on April 23 - 25 ( for all teachers) and May 21 - 23 (for Administrator only). I believe that the more we PUT all into training … the better and best they become! An Optional DePed sponsored event called National Summit on Early Childhood Education on May 11 - 13 is a bonus too (this is only for the Administrator). AS THE LORD SPEAKS TO YOUR HEART … do give. Give to make this NEEDED Training come true :-) HOW: You may use the envelope; You may text me (my number above) for personal pick up. I really THANK GOD FOR HLLC! Excess FUNDS will go to the ff: - Fixing of electric pump at school - Painting of walls (you may donate paint and brush) - Make Additional tables and chairs - Make Computer tables for the 2 rooms ( 2 computers per room) - New CD players — jr here

Treat Others as You Want Them To Treat You “Do to others as you would have them do to you.” Luke 6:31
We call this the Golden Rule. This is NOT the:

Reciprocal Rule - usually based on selfishness not service Ricochet Rule - do to them as what they have done to you Hidden Motive Rule - I act as if I am doing it for you … but in the end … it was really for me
The Message Bible Translation says this: “Here is a simple, rule-of-thumb guide for behaviour: Ask yourself what you want people to do for you, then grab the initiative and do it for them” (Matthew 7:12).
Want to transform your RELATIONSHIPS? That’s the Simple RULE! The Golden Rule is a picture of the true nature of love. Love is not Reciprocal; love is Sacrificial. Love gives itself without waiting for others to give. Jesus gave you these commands not to discourage you but to invite you to trust in him for a kind of love you could never manufacture on your own. This will point us to look at how God treats people; how God acts towards us. ONLY Jesus can give this POWER! The Golden Rule is not Golden if it does not apply to EVERYONE. That’s why it has to include our ENEMIES. Every time the topic happens to be “love your enemies” … this is where philosophical debates happen ...
WISE GUIDE: Jesus isn’t talking about allowing someone to CONTROL YOU. In fact QUITE the OPPOSITE! He is reminding you to stay in control of the situation by choosing to act in radical love toward someone, even if they treat you as an enemy.
God did not create you to be co-dependent or to be independent; he created you to be DEPENDENT on Him!

COMMUNICATE From The Heart Why is communication so important to relationships? Because all relationships are fueled by communication.
COMMUNICATION IS ISN’T EASY! James gave us this clear picture. “No one can tame the tongue” (James 3:8 NCV). We need help!. Communication is not a science; it is an art. We are all struggling to communicate. We need an expert to teach us—Jesus the only perfect communicator. How did Jesus communicate?
3 lessons about communication that grow out of teaching and examples of JESUS 1. The Foundation of communication is TRUST. 2. Communication is always from the HEART. 3. Communication that makes an impact is HONEST. All these 3 lessons about communication and examples of Jesus show us that our words have the power to take our relationships to a new level of impact and intimacy.
3 things how to be truly heard 1. B_______________ Trust. 2. W_______________ your Heart. 3. Be Honest in your C_____________________. “Speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is Christ” (Ephesians 4:14)
Conclusion: Communication is not easy, we need to change our hearts and let Jesus teach us. He’s the expert in communication ...
