April 1 I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid. And I will remove harmful beasts from the land, and the sword shall not go through your land. - Leviticus 26:6

April 2 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.  He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.  He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness    for his name’s sake.

April 3 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,    I will fear no evil, for you are with me;    your rod and your staff,    they comfort me. - Psalm 23:4

April 4 You prepare a table before me    in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil;    my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me    all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD     forever. - Psalm 23:5-6

April 5 Oh that you had paid attention to my commandments!     Then your peace would have been like a river,    and your righteousness like the waves of the sea; - Isaiah 48:18

April 6 For thus says the LORD: "Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river,    and the glory of the nations like an overflowing stream; and you shall nurse, you shall be carried upon her hip,    and bounced upon her knees. - Isaiah 66:12

April 7 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion!    Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you;    righteous and having salvation is he, humble and mounted on a donkey,    on a colt, the foal of a donkey. I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim    and the war horse from Jerusalem; and the battle bow shall be cut off,    and he shall speak peace to the nations; his rule shall be from sea to sea,    and from the River to the ends of the earth. - Zechariah 9:9-10

April 8 Behold, a son shall be born to you who shall be a man of rest. I will give him rest from all his surrounding enemies. For his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quiet to Israel in his days. - 1 Chronicles 22:9

April 9 May the LORD give strength to his people!    May the LORD bless his people with peace! - Psalm 29:11

April 10 But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the LORD on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare. - Jeremiah 29:7

April 11 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. - John 15:9-11

April 12 They have healed the wound of my people lightly,    saying, 'Peace, peace,'     when there is no peace. - Jeremiah 6:14

April 13 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. - James 3:17-18

April 14 Then the Spirit clothed Amasai, chief of the thirty, and he said,    "We are yours, O David,    and with you, O son of Jesse! Peace, peace to you,    and peace to your helpers!    For your God helps you."        Then David received them and made them officers of his troops. - 1 Chronicles 12:18 

April 15 I have seen his ways, but I will heal him;    I will lead him and restore comfort to him and his mourners,   creating the fruit of the lips. Peace, peace, to the far and to the near," says the LORD,     "and I will heal him. - Isaiah 57:18-19

April 17 "I will make with them a covenant of peace and banish wild beasts from the land, so that they may dwell securely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods. And I will make them and the places all around my hill a blessing, and I will send down the showers in their season; they shall be showers of blessing. And the trees of the field shall yield their fruit, and the earth shall yield its increase, and they shall be secure in their land. And they shall know that I am the LORD, when I break the bars of their yoke, and deliver them from the hand of those who enslaved them. - Ezekiel 34:25-27

April 18 They shall no more be a prey to the nations, nor shall the beasts of the land devour them. They shall dwell securely, and none shall make them afraid. And I will provide for them renowned plantations so that they shall no more be consumed with hunger in the land, and no longer suffer the reproach of the nations. And they shall know that I am the LORD their God with them, and that they, the house of Israel, are my people, declares the Lord GOD. And you are my sheep, human sheep of my pasture, and I am your God, declares the Lord GOD." - Ezekiel 34:28-31

April 19 Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all. - 2 Thessalonians 3:16 

April 20

The way of peace they do not know,    and there is no justice in their paths; they have made their roads crooked;     no one who treads on them knows peace.  Therefore justice is far from us,    and righteousness does not overtake us; we hope for light, and behold, darkness,    and for brightness, but we walk in gloom…For our transgressions are multiplied before you,    and our sins testify against us; for our transgressions are with us,    and we know our iniquities: transgressing, and denying the LORD,    and turning back from following our God, speaking oppression and revolt,    conceiving and uttering from the heart lying words. - Isaiah 59:8-9,12-13

April 21 And he came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near. - Ephesians 2:17

April 22 Finally, brothers, rejoice. Aim for restoration, comfort one another, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. - 2 Corinthians 13:11 

April 23 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. You heard me say to you, 'I am going away, and I will come to you.' If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. And now I have told you before it takes place, so that when it does take place you may believe. I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming. April 24 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. - Romans 5:1

April 26 In that day the LORD with his hard and great and strong sword will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan the twisting serpent, and he will slay the dragon that is in the sea.  In that day, "A pleasant vineyard, sing of it!  I, the LORD, am its keeper;    every moment I water it.    Lest anyone punish it, I keep it night and day;  I have no wrath. Would that I had thorns and briers to battle!    I would march against them,    I would burn them up together.
