Learning Tasks Prayer Attendance B. Motivation “Pictionary” Words are placed in a container and a child will pick a word from it and draw it in the board. The children will guess what the word is. At the end of the period, the class will get back to the words and give their synonyms and antonyms.
C. Lesson Proper 1. Pre Activity Unlocking of words The teacher will present some words that the children will encounter in the story and give their meaning. The teacher will ask some students to use the words in a sentence. 2. Activity Proper Storytelling- Little Raindrop by Gloria Villaraza-Guzman 3. Post Activity - Big Group Activity Picture Analysis Through pictures, the children will discover the synonym and antonym of the word. They will also learn the meaning of the words “synonyms” and “antonyms”.

- Small Group Activities Rewriting Story (Synonyms Activity) The group will be given a copy of the story “Little Raindrop”. The children will rewrite the story by changing the underlined words with their synonyms. Concentration (Antonyms Activity) Write words and their antonyms on different index cards and have the children match the words and their antonyms. D. Generalization Synonyms are words with the same meaning. Antonyms are words with the opposite meaning. E. Evaluation Direction: Complete the table by writing the synonyms or antonyms of the word.
