Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University or a Barrister-at-Law [At least 5 years experience as practicing lawyer or public prosecutor. Well versed in Constitutional law, Election Laws and Procedural Laws. OR At least 5 years experience as Legal Assistant in any Federal/Provincial Government Department dealing with matters relating to Constitutional Law, Election Laws and Procedural Laws.] Master OR 4 years Bachelors in Computer Science/ Tele Comm./IT from HEC-recognized university/institution. Minimum 2nd class OR ‘C’ Grade in the relevant Masters/Bachelors (International Certifications MCSE, CCNA will be preferable). [Experience preferable in utilization of latest development tools for web, database, workflow application etc.] F.A, FSc or equivalent qualification with 50/100 w.p.m. typing/shorthand speed respectively and Computer operating in MS Word, Excel and Power Point. Matric or equivalent qualification with 40/80 w.p.m. typing/shorthand speed respectively and Computer operating in MS Word, Excel and Power Point. 2nd Class or “C” grade or equivalent in F.A/FSc. With typing speed of 10,000 key depression per hour. Matric or equivalent qualification with typing speed 30 w.p.m. and Computer operating in MS Word, Excel and Power Point. Primary Pass

Relaxation in age limit of five years over and above the prescribed age limit will be given as per Government decision. Application forms are available, free of cost, in Election Commission Secretariat, Islamabad, offices of Provincial Election Commissioners and Deputy Election Commissioners and Assistant Election Commissioners. The same can also be downloaded from ECP website www.ecp.gov.pk. 3. Persons already in Government service should apply through proper channel. No. TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in test/interview. Only short-listed candidates will be called for written test.
