Greatest Common Factor pg 65
This lesson defined an important term, relative prime. The lesson started to get a little more advanced so my dad taught me a new method to find the GCF of big numbers in a pair by using their prime factorization. This method is also explained in problem 34. After using my dad’s method for a while, I got used to it and got better at finding out the GCF. I learned to find an easy way for finding the GCF for big numbers. Step 1- find the factors of the first number Step 2- find the factors of the second number Step 3- The factors that are common for the numbers for step one and two is the common factor. You use the same method to find the greatest common factor. Look for the greatest common factor of the factors you found= GCF
