The need to understand Islam and its stand on various issues has never been more imperative than now following recent world events such as the Danish cartoons controversy and more recently the 14 th century misunderstandings of Emperor Manuel II reignited by being quoted by the Pontiff, and the latest being the Veil issue. Hence the Urgent need to hear about Islam from Muslims themselves who are best able to articulate what they believe in and best able to defend what is alleged about them and their Faith.

A former member of the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Reference Group on Muslim – Christian Dialogue he has participated in the Listening Exercise which lead to the formation of the Christian Muslim Forum. Have also participated in organizing a seminar on a faith to faith basis on the concept of citizenship in the Christian and Muslim faiths. A Member of his local Muslim-Christian Dialogue group. An active Promoter of Inter-Faith dialogue and understanding. A Frequent Guest at VIP Inter-Faith receptions.
