1. Abiding in the Word John 15:7 “If you abide in Me, and My Words abide in you,
you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.”
a. “Abiding” means vital, united relationship where you are drawing your life strength from Him. -bear, take, put up with, accept, stand for, dwell, reside
b. Jesus used the analogy of a branch connected to a vine. The vine goes deep in the soil, the roots pull up the nutrients, they go into the branches, and the branches bear the leaves and fruits.
John 8:31, 32, 36 “If you abide in my Word, you are MY disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free… therefore, if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” a. depression comes from being low on God’s Word. b. If you don’t have fuel, you won’t have fire.
