Read Yoko’s description of transportation in Bangkok. Then mark each sentence true (T) or false (F). I traveled to Bangkok last year. I knew that Bangkok is famous for its terrible traffic jams, so I avoided using taxis and buses. Instead, I tried some of the city’s more unusual forms of transportation. For example, I got around central Bangkok by express boat on the Chao Phraya River. From the boat, there were wonderful views of palaces, temples, and other tourist sites. Also, I hired a “Tuk Tuk” motorcycle taxi. They were cheap, and riding in one gave me a real feel for the city.
