Triduum Sign-Ups Many people are needed to help make our Triduum services Holy Thursday, Good Friday and the Easter Vigil - prayerful and meaningful. Please consider helping out as Lectors, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, or in other areas needing help. Sign-up sheets are next to the large cross in the atrium. Thank you! Please Help Make The Worship Space Beautiful for Easter Donations of Easter flowers will be greatly appreciated to help decorate the Holy Spirit Chapel, the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, and the Atrium for Easter. Please consider buying an Easter Lily (or tow, or more, or any other kind of flower!!!) as a memorial for a deceased loved one and dropping it off at the UCC during Holy Week. We will list the names of those you would like remembered in this way in the bulletin. As always, we are grateful for your generosity. “Brother, Can You Spare A Dime?” The University Interfaith Council is hosting an interfaith discussion on the financial crisis, complete with Christian, Muslim and Jewish responses to the economic situation. Free food! April 15th at 6:30 pm at Texas Hillel at 21st & San Antonio.

Palm Sunday Holy Week 2009

Join us for the Easter Triduum! * Holy Thursday Mass at 8:00 pm followed by adoration until Midnight in the Catacombs. * Good Friday Morning Prayer—8:30 am * Good Friday Services at 12:00 pm followed by University Interfaith Council’s Stations of the Cross at 2 pm starting at the Littlefield Fountain. * Holy Saturday Morning Prayer—8:30 a.m. * Easter Vigil Mass, including reception into the Church by our RCIA elect and candidates, begins at 8 pm. Come and pray during our most holy days of the year.

Reminder! 8 pm Mass attendees are no longer able to park in the lot at the corner of 20th and Whitis. The only lot for the University Catholic Center is the lot to our west between our building and Dobie Mall.

MeatFest Thanks Lambda Omega Alpha extends its deepest gratitude to all who supported MeatFest 09. The event was a great success, raising a profit of $1,076.13, all donated to Micah 6, the nearby ecumenical food pantry. We very much appreciate your generosity and hope you enjoyed all the food!

St. Austin’s will be hosting a six-week dialog series on Wednesdays at 7 pm in Hecker Hall running until April 8th on the topic of Awakening Faith—Is connection possible? Where am I now in life? Where am I going? What do I really want? What is it all about?

University Graduate Students & Professionals- UGAP invites all grad students and recently gradated young adults to join us on Tuesdays at the UCC. For more info contact Nate at [email protected]. We gather in the Atrium at 7 pm and move to the Mother Teresa room at 7:30 pm. Gay and Lesbian Support Group With the encouragement and support of Bishop Aymond, the UCC has formed a support group for Catholic students who identify themselves as gay or lesbian. The purpose of this group is to provide a safe and confidential place for these individuals to meet for discussion, prayer and fellowship.
