3.2. Salary by Position1 The following tables provide salary information of positions in Technical and Non-Technical Groups. Data reported were (1) average basic monthly salary (without allowance), (2) average total allowance and the (3)average gross salary. Please note that there are some lower positions which have higher ranges of salary (minimum and maximum amounts) as compared to higher positions in an organization. This is due to the variability of the companies who shared information to the specific positions in the survey. This occurrence does not imply that the lower positions have higher salary. It can be advised that the average and median amounts can also be used to gauge the range of salary amount of the positions. (a) Overall This looks into the survey responses as a whole. Based on the results, it can be observed that the average monthly hiring rate, average basic salary without allowance and maximum basic salary without allowance are close to each other between Technical positions and Non-Technical positions.
