If the bank statement is not from your bank account, we will need a letter or affidavit of support from the person whose bank statement is given. The bank statement must have enough funds for the course and living expenses. Living expenses are calculated at $250.00 per week. This amount is equal to the LSI homestay program cost per week and is used as an estimate for all students even if accommodation is not provided by LSI. Once this amount has been received, a transfer form will be sent to your current school. I-20s are then transferred from the other school to LSI if you register for at least 4 weeks of course and as long as you have been maintaining your status with ICE.
