5. An experiment is conducted to determine the rate of reaction between 25 em) of hydrochloric acid 0.1 mol dm" and 10.0 g of marble chips. The gas evolved is collected into a burette by water displacement technique. Diagram 5 shows the incomplete apparatus set-up for this experiment. Table 5 shows the result of the experiment.
