Meeting Minutes March 13, 2006 Board members present: Tommy Taylor, Jeff Eckley, David Steiner, Kris Meek and Rose Klein. We were supposed to have elections for Board members at the January or February meeting. The January HNA meeting was cancelled due to the Monday Martin Luther King Holiday. Many holidays are on the third Monday of the month and schools are closed. The February HNA meeting date was changed to February 15th because of the President’s Day Holiday but Kris Meek and Rose Klein were the only members who showed up. Elections: Jeff Eckley said that he would be Vice President if Tommy Taylor would continue as President. Kris Meek nominated Jeff Eckley as Vice President. Approved by acclamation. Rose Klein nominated Tommy Taylor as President. Approved by acclamation. Alan Cable said that he would remain as Treasurer. Approved by acclamation. Rose Klein said that she would remain as Secretary. Approved by acclamation. Kris Meek said that she would remain as Director. Approved by acclamation. Dave Steiner said that he would remain as Webmaster. Approved by acclamation. Nicole McCoy will be retained as Director even though she is going to be deployed to Iraq. We still have two vacant Director positions. Egg Hunt: Jeff Eckley said that he would get 26 metal posts to mark off the areas for the hunt. Someone needs to make signs for the age groups. Tommy is contacting Wal-Mart to get a donation of candy. Tommy will also get additional caution tape for marking off areas and he will get a microphone from Parks and Rec. Jeff Eckley will bring two dozen raw eggs and he will coordinate the egg toss. Rose Klein will bring donut holes and try to round up more help. Mike Crist is storing the eggs. Tommy Taylor will take them and the candy to Lancaster Manor where the residents will stuff the eggs for us. We usually give them a $50 donation for their help. The Egg Hunt is scheduled for 1 p.m. April 15th at the park by Fredstrom School. The next meeting is Monday, April 17th at the Highlands Golf course.
