MSCT SCAN OF THORAX Plain continuous overlapping, thin 1.5mm, Helical Multi-slice CT scan was performed and reviewed, then reprocessed in various planes and thicker sections for filming. A nonhomogenous lesion is seen in right lower lobe anteriorly and medially with evidence of bronchogram in part of lesion superiorly and associated pleural thickening. Aorta and major vessels appear normal. Trachea and major bronchi appear normal. No evident fluid collection in either pleural cavity. No evident mediastenal lymphadenopathy is seen. Bony thoracic cage and dorsal vertebrae reveal no evident abnormality.
